Valente is Brass Stallions’ coming six-year-old BWP Lifetime Approved Stallion, competed by Kevin Laevens. Combining three exceptional gaits, outstanding rideability, a wonderful temperament, and a modern, refined type, Valente has already established an impressive record in both sport and breeding.

As a four-year-old, Valente earned his approval for breeding through BWP while also qualifying for and competing in several noteworthy Belgian national-level dressage championships. His successful competition season completed the first of two years of sport competition required toward BWP Lifetime Approval.

As a five-year-old, Valente continued to distinguish himself in sport. He qualified for and competed in the Belgian Championships and participated in the Belgian selection process for the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses, where he was named First Reserve for Belgium.

He then competed in the Belgian Young Horse Championships, advancing to the final Championship round and finishing seventh overall.

With two successful years of sport competition now completed, Valente has fulfilled the requirements to become a BWP Lifetime Approved Stallion. Plans are also underway to present him to additional registries, offering mare owners multiple registry options for the 2027 breeding season.

Judges have consistently praised the quality of Valente’s three gaits, awarding 8s and even 9s, while also recognizing his trainability, bravery in the competition arena, and talent for the upper levels of dressage.

His character is equally special. Around the stable, Valente is a sweet and personable stallion, always happy to greet everyone who comes down the aisle and easy to handle. His exceptional temperament and rideability are complemented by a beautiful, leggy, refined type.

Valente’s pedigree of **Foundation × Grand Galaxy Win × Don Frederico brings together some of Europe’s most influential dressage bloodlines.

His sire, Foundation (Fidertanz × De Vito), combines an impressive International Grand Prix career with an equally distinguished record as a breeding stallion. Foundation was the winner of the Oldenburg Main Premium and successfully progressed through the levels to International Grand Prix competition. He has become a highly regarded producer of upper-level and Grand Prix dressage horses, passing on powerful, expressive movement, rideability, presence, and an aptitude for collection.

Foundation is a son of the influential Fidertanz, the 2004 NRW Champion Stallion and a successful Grand Prix competitor who went on to establish an important sire line in modern dressage breeding. Fidertanz has produced numerous licensed stallions and successful international dressage horses, with Foundation among his most prominent sons.

On the dam side, Valente’s grandsire Grand Galaxy Win (Apache × Jazz) brings another highly successful performance and breeding line to the pedigree. Grand Galaxy Win was named Danish Warmblood Champion Stallion in 2014, earned 84 points in his KWPN performance test, was Reserve Champion in the Danish 4-year-old Championship, and competed as a finalist at the 2016 World Championships for Young Horses. He later competed internationally through Intermediaire II. Equally influential as a sire, Grand Galaxy Win produced 29 licensed or approved sons before being gelded, with his offspring recognized for their modern type, athleticism, movement, and rideability.
